Types of Parties



Before you do party planning you should know exactly what type of party you are hosting, and here is some of them, I just googled them for you.


Birthday party

A birthday party is a celebration of the anniversary of the birth of the person who is being honored. The tradition started in the mid-nineteenth century but did not become popular until the mid-twentieth century.[1] Birthday parties are now a feature of many cultures.
In Western cultures, birthday parties include a number of common rituals. The guests may be asked to bring a gift for the honored person.

Costume Party

a ​party where ​people where ​special ​clothes that make them ​look like a ​particular ​character or ​type of thing.

Surprise party

A surprise party is a party that is not made known beforehand to the person in whose honor it is being held.
Birthday surprise parties are the most common kind of surprise party.



Dance Party

Is a social gathering where dancing is the primary activity. Some dance parties are held in a casual setting and open to the public

Dinner party


A dinner party is a social gathering at which people eat dinner together host’s home.

Cocktail party

A cocktail party is a party at which cocktails are served. It is sometimes called a "cocktail reception". Women who attend a cocktail party may wear a cocktail dress. A cocktail hat is sometimes worn as a fashion statement.

Tea party

In Anglo-American culture, a tea party is a formal gathering for afternoon tea. These parties were traditionally attended only by women, but men may also be invited.

Bachelor party

A party a man's friends throw for him before he gets married. There is often heavy drinking and/or strippers (i.e. all the things that he won't be able to enjoy once he's married.)

Showers

Bridal shower and Baby shower
A shower is a party whose primary purpose is to give gifts to the guest of honor, commonly a bride-to-be or a mother-to-be. Guests who attend are expected to bring a small gift, usually related to the upcoming life event, like getting married or having a baby. Themed games are a frequent sight during showers as well.

Housewarming party

A housewarming party may be held when a family, couple, or person moves into a new house or apartment. It is an occasion for the hosts to show their new home to their friends. Housewarming parties are typically informal and do not include any planned activities other than a tour of the new house or apartment. Invited family members and friends may bring gifts for the new home.

Welcome party

A welcome party is held for the purpose of welcoming a newcomer, such as a new club member, a new employee, or a family's new baby.

Farewell party

In many cultures, it is customary to throw a farewell party in honor of someone who is moving away or departing on a long trip (sometimes called a bon voyage party). Retirement parties for departing co-workers fall into this category.

Pre-party

A pre-party is a party that is held immediately before some event, such as a school dance, a wedding, a birthday party, or a bar mitzvah. These parties are usually of short duration and sometimes involve getting ready for the event (e.g., the guests may put on makeup or costumes). Guests usually leave at the same time and arrive at the event together.

After-party

An after-party is a party that is held after a musical or theatrical performance or after some other event, such as a wedding or a school dance. Guests are usually limited to friends of the host.

Tip number one is what color do you want to choose? If it's a soccer club winning celebration then you know what is your party colors


But if not then you can choose your favorite  colors or your، and I always recommend choosing two colors
 example: black and white, black and gold, Blue and white...its. 

Tip number two party tables is the most important and beautiful part of any party decorations in the world 

Table is also important for setting up more than 60% of  party decorations themes and for foods, beverages and cakes.

You better choose the right size of table 
Why ??
Because a small table can look so missy and  a big one can look so empty 

Tip number three go find a wall to decorate.

Room corner can be really nice choice but If you are hosting  this party outside you can use a partition 
Or moveable wall or get rid of this tip if you like... It's your party after all ;)

Tip number four buy or get free party theme and some parties decorations supplies like balloons and tableware 

If you good at photoshop you can make some amazing things 

Tip number five decorate your foods and beverages with the same theme and colors you choose .

print you theme as sticker and decorate popcorn boxes and water bottle and every thing else>


Tip number six  Apply your theme on every things around

Anyway as a human being we love all kinds of parties. Especially good ones.
In this post I would like to share with all of you my secret tips for party planning.
Get a paper and pen and let's get started


1- What is this party for? Or (who's it for?)

Here’s the purpose of party, is it a birthday party? Graduation party, Tea party, Dinner party, Surprise party?

2- Who is invited? (You should make a list of your party guest)

This is matter because a long list of guest requires more food and space.

3- When is your party? Next week? Next month? Tomorrow?


4- Where is it?

Now you can Decide where you hosting the party , It could be your house or a restaurants, pubs, beer gardens, nightclubs or bars, else.


5- Do you love decorating? Just kidding...

This is the most fun part of any party. You should choose your party decorations, and you can check

6- Party’s food and beverages, and this can also be so funny. And you can get so creative with it


7- Music and Entertainment

 For music, you can Create your own playlists or google them
And for Party Entertainment, a lot of games and toys can be so funny, so ask your friends or uncle google ;)
